Information

The composite brake pad is shown in Figure 1 using composite materials, 4 small brake pads are installed on one brake pad holder, two brake pads are installed on one side. The brake pad can be fan-shaped, and three (or five) radial grooves are designed on a combined brake pad for heat dissipation and discharge of tiny dust particles after brake pad wear. The thickness of the brake pad is 35mm, the weight is 3.6Kg, the wear thickness is 30mm, and the wear limit mark is set at 5mm from the steel back of the gate to facilitate daily wear inspection. The average dynamic friction coefficient of the brake pad is 0.35 and the static friction coefficient is 0.3.

The back of the composite brake pad is with a 1.2mm~1.5mm thickness steel plate stamped and formed with a dovetail groove to increase the strength of the composite brake pad, at the same time serve as a connection between the brake pad and the brake pad holder. Through the holes in the steel back, after special treatment, the composite pad is firmly bonded to the steel back.
